Galion Middle School hosting chili dinner Friday

October 16, 2018

Galion Middle School will host a chili dinner from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Heise Park football stadium near the baseball dugouts Friday, October 19. Take-out containers will be available, and chili will be sold after 7:00 p.m. in the concession stand during the home football game.

The dinner is being held in an effort to raise funds to help lower expenses for the 2018-2019 Middle School field trips to Mohican Outdoor School and Washington, DC.

“We are working to take a proactive approach to help lower the costs for these field trips for our students and their families,” Middle School Principal Paul Wheeler said. “Our hope is that the Galion community will come out and support this dinner and help our sixth and eighth grade students attend their respective field trips.”

A donation of $2.00 is recommended. Please call the Galion Middle School office at 419-468-3134 if you have any questions.
