The Galion High School will host its 2018 National Honor Society (NHS) induction ceremony in the High School cafetorium Nov. 13. The program begins at 6:00 p.m. with a relish, hors d'oeuvres, and dessert buffet followed by the induction ceremony.
The Galion City Schools will hold fall parent-teacher conferences Oct. 30 and Nov. 1. There will be no classes for students Nov. 1 and Nov. 2.
The Galion City School District is very excited about the changes we are making to our campus. The addition of the bus garage and varsity soccer field will allow our school district to function more efficiently, benefitting our community and our kids.

Galion High School will issue diplomas to those veterans who left high school early to serve in World War II, Vietnam and Korea during a special ceremony Friday, Nov. 9.
Galion Middle School will host a chili dinner from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Heise Park football stadium near the baseball dugouts Friday, October 19. Take-out containers will be available, and chili will be sold after 7:00 p.m. in the concession stand.
The Galion Primary/Intermediate Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) will be hosting its first ever Tiger Dash on Oct. 12. After listening to the suggestions of parents, the PTO came up with the idea of the Tiger Dash, a fun run/fundraiser.
