Galion second grade teacher Lynne Foust used technology to engage other schools from around the United States in a Valentine exchange program. Foust decided to be part of the project when she saw the idea on a 2nd grade Facebook group.

Galion City School District staff members are leading their students by example through community service of their own. The staff participated in a food drive to support the Ohio Heartland Community Action Commission in Galion during a full day in-service Jan. 13.
