Instructional Packets for Primary and Intermediate students are available to be picked up between 8:00-Noon on Wednesday and Thursday this week.
High School and Middle School Students should check Canvas and their Email on a daily basis.

Members of the GEA, OAPSE, and Galion City Schools administration are collaborating in an effort to support our Galion students and families. Our goal is to not only support our students academically but, to ensure food is available to assist our students and families for at least the next three weeks.
Starting Monday, March 16, 2020 the Galion City Schools team will be collecting non-perishable items that will be donated to local pantries. Items may be dropped off at GHS, GMS, GIS, or GPS. Buildings will be open on Monday from 11:00am - 3:00pm or Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00am - 12:00pm. Items may also be dropped off at the Administrative building Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 3:00pm.
Galion City Schools food service and transportation departments are also collaboratively working to deliver meals throughout the city beginning Tuesday for children ages 1-18.
We take pride in our daily efforts to care for our students and are happy to do what we can to support them during this time. Our deepest appreciation is extended in advance to those willing to assist us by donating items.

Starting Saturday, March 14 - April 5, 2020 ALL extracurricular activities are cancelled. This includes all athletics events, practices, clubs & organizations.
We are very proud to announce that during the closure, we will start delivering FREE breakfast & lunch to Galion children ages 1-18. Only one form per family is needed. It must be completed by a Parent/Guardian and must be completed no later than 10:00am Monday, March 16, 2020.
You will be notified by phone on Monday evening with an estimated delivery time.
Galion Schools Closure: Food Request Form
This program will only run during the closure. It will not run over the regularly scheduled Spring Break week.
Medication
Anyone who needs to pick up their child's medication from the school may do so between 11:00-3:00 on Monday, March 16. Call your school office to make arrangements if necessary. Our office time will be very limited during the closure.
Spring Break
At this time we will follow the regular school calendar which includes Spring Break April 6-12. Classes will resume on Monday, April 13, 2020 as planned.
