A message from our Social Worker

We know it takes a village....

Sometimes, parents are not able to care for their children in the ways they want to and as grandparents, you take over the child- rearing responsibilities.  It is not easy and you are not alone.

In Ohio there are about 100,000 grandparents raising their grandchildren. Here at Galion City Schools, we want to offer a monthly support group that also provides some information to grandparents who are raising their grandchildren.  It will be a place to come and talk about your experiences, support one another, and ask questions about things you may not understand because life has changed a little (or a lot) since you raised your children.

If you are interested in this GRANDFAMILIES group please complete the following survey, or call Kirstie Naumoff at 419-468-3676 ext. 14005.
