Thank you all for your support in the 12th Annual Socktober Sock Drive! GIS finished the 2025 year with 2,780 pairs of socks for the homeless shelter!!!
Top Classes:
First Place: Valentine Homeroom - 1,215 pairs!!!
Second Place: Baldy Homeroom - 644 pairs!!!
Third Place: Keller Homeroom - 143 pairs!!!
The combined efforts of GPS & GIS brought in a whopping 6,243 pairs of brand new socks!!! Way to go, Tigers!!!!!
After 12 years of collecting socks for the homeless shelter, we have donated 31,310 pairs of socks!!! What a tremendous accomplishment and outpouring of love and generosity. These donations helped people in 6 surrounding counties!

Today, Ms. Johnson surprised her 9th–11th grade students during 5th period with a Halloween pizza party! Students enjoyed pizza, candy, and chips while spending time socializing with friends.
Ms. Johnson shared that this group has truly grown together this year — creating a welcoming, supportive environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to participate. 💙🧡
She said the students’ gratitude made the last-minute surprise and delight even more special. One student even suggested taking photos to remember the moment — and we’re so glad they did!
