✈️ Every year, our Civil Air Patrol cadets test their engineering skills with a paper airplane aerodynamics experiment. This year’s standout flyers were Abby Holt, Trenton Fricke, and Aaron Thompson — with Ian Sumpter (not pictured) also among our distant winners!

📢 August is National Immunization Awareness Month!
As a reminder, all NEW students, as well as those entering Kindergarten, 7th grade, and 12th grade, must be current on their required immunizations by September 3.
Ohio law provides a 14-day grace period from the first day of school (August 20). After this period, if immunization records, a medical exemption, or other required documentation have not been submitted, your student may be excluded from school until compliance is met.

We’re back to share information about tomorrow’s dismissal! Bus departure will continue as it did last year.
Buses will line up between the High School and Middle School.
Loading begins, and buses will depart at 2:30 PM.
Please remember to give all buses the right of way so they can exit campus safely and on time.

Parking, stopping, or leaving a vehicle in a designated fire lane is strictly prohibited—this applies to both public and private property, including school grounds.
At GCS, fire lanes are clearly marked with red curbs and posted signage. Vehicles parked in these areas violate fire code and may be subject to fines, penalties, or towing at the direction of the local fire official.
