Today, Ms. Johnson surprised her 9th–11th grade students during 5th period with a Halloween pizza party! Students enjoyed pizza, candy, and chips while spending time socializing with friends.
Ms. Johnson shared that this group has truly grown together this year — creating a welcoming, supportive environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to participate. 💙🧡
She said the students’ gratitude made the last-minute surprise and delight even more special. One student even suggested taking photos to remember the moment — and we’re so glad they did!

🏈 Meet Coach Matt Dick!
We’re proud to introduce our Head Football Coach, Matt Dick, who just hit an incredible milestone — the most wins in Galion history with an outstanding 61 victories! 🎉
Coach Dick began his career at Galion in 2016 as Head Football Coach, bringing his background as a Math teacher and his passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the field. Before coming to Galion, he was an assistant fb coach at Madison for 4 years and then at Fredericktown for 6. We are so thankful he landed here. He not only holds the Head Coach position he also is the Principal at our Intermediate Building.
If we could describe him in a few words — humble, determined, and always there for the kids.
Matt and his wife, Sara, stay busy with their five children, each heading in their own directions at all times, but always cheering on the Tigers! 🐾💙🧡
