The upcoming week is going to be a busy and exciting one here at Galion City Schools! We’re getting ready to welcome our Tigers back for another great school year. 💙🧡

• Intermediate School: 4:30–6:30 p.m.
• Middle & High School: 5:00–7:00 p.m.
• Freshman Orientation: 5:30–6:15 p.m.

• Primary School: 4:00–6:00 p.m.
Be sure to stop in, meet your child’s teacher, see their classroom, and bring along school supplies if you’d like!

Then it’s time to get those backpacks ready!

Students entering a new building will have their first day:

As we prepare for the start of school, please take a moment to review the new traffic pattern for Galion Middle & High School.
🚌 Morning Bus Drop-Off
Most buses will drop students off between the Middle School and High School, near the area with the painted paw prints.
This area will also be used for PM bus pick-up.
Pioneer and SPED buses No Changes
🚗 High School East Lot — IMPORTANT
The traffic pattern on the East Lot (Drug Mart side of the High School) has changed.
High School buses will NO LONGER drop off on this side of the building.
Traffic in this area will be ONE-WAY. Please follow the arrows and use the correct lane depending on which entrance you use.
Only Pioneer and SPED buses will use this lot.

Please consider participating in the Avita 5K Run/Walk – 2 Mile Walk. Proceeds enable the Avita Health Foundation to help sponsor “free” annual sports physicals for all our participating high school student athletes. $15 registration fee includes t-shirt, hot dog, chips, post run/walk snack & water, live music, and awards (if applicable) – extended to July 27 for free/guarenteed t-shirt. Check-in opens at 7:30 am - 5K begins at 8:30 am on August 8th.
