Today, Ms. Johnson surprised her 9th–11th grade students during 5th period with a Halloween pizza party! Students enjoyed pizza, candy, and chips while spending time socializing with friends.
Ms. Johnson shared that this group has truly grown together this year — creating a welcoming, supportive environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to participate. 💙🧡
She said the students’ gratitude made the last-minute surprise and delight even more special. One student even suggested taking photos to remember the moment — and we’re so glad they did!

Rounding out our Principal Spotlights — our High School Principal, Mr. Vogt! He’s truly a jack of all trades: from coaching basketball for 34 years, to 18 years teaching High School English, serving as Athletic Director, Assistant Principal, and now leading GHS as Principal while also working toward his Doctorate. He really can do it all, and we are so grateful to have him as part of our Tiger family! 🐅👏

Staff Spotlight: Welcome Jessica Cooper!
We’re excited to welcome Mrs. Cooper, Galion’s JV Cheer Coach and our NEW Career Coach!! When she’s not on the sidelines, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, watching college football (Go Buckeyes and Fighting Irish!), working on cars, crocheting, and macramé.
Fun fact: Jessica does nearly all the automotive work on their family’s vehicles — including the prep and bodywork on their ’72 Chevelle! Stay tuned for updates on Mrs Cooper's Lunch and Learn's coming very soon for our High School students!!

Noah, a senior at Galion High School, created this awesome clock in his Industrial Technology course with Mr. Weirich!
In addition to his hard work in class, Noah also works 20–30 hours a week at Wendy’s. When asked what he enjoys most about woodshop, he shared, “I’m in Industrial Tech 3. Mr. Weirich gives us the freedom to do projects that interest us.”
Way to go, Noah — keep up the great work! 👏🧡🐯
