💬 Building Conversations That Matter 💬
We’re excited to share that Galion City Schools will be launching a monthly segment in partnership with the Crawford County Prevention Coalition, focused on age-appropriate topics that support the overall well-being of our students. While some of these questions may be considered "too young" or silly for some it's a way to open a dialog to fit a need.
We’re starting the year by encouraging families to simply build strong, open communication with their children. These conversations don’t have to be formal—often the best talks happen around the dinner table or at bedtime, when the house is quiet and kids feel most comfortable opening up. But we must start to build relationships that are based on communication.
January, the focus is on connection and trust—creating space for your child to share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. In the coming months, we’ll begin sharing guidance and resources on how to talk with your child about more specific topics, including substance use prevention and awareness, in a thoughtful and age-appropriate way.
Thank you for CCPC for partnering with us as we work together to support healthy choices and strong family communication. 💙

Tiger Tech was once again out and about this morning, setting up at the YMCA today from 11:30–12:30. We received such a warm welcome from our friends at the Y and were able to get started right away helping a few customers. The boys were also surprised with some very special gifts, for which we are incredibly thankful. A huge thank you to Terry, Marla, Jeremiah, and Adam for their hospitality. Join us next month on the first Wednesday, February 4, at the YMCA from 11:30–12:30 for help with basic phone, tablet, or laptop issues!

Our Civil Air Patrol (CAP) recently held their 2nd Annual Wreaths Across America ceremony.
Their mission is simple, yet powerful: Remember, Honor, and Teach.
🇺🇸 Remember the fallen
🇺🇸 Honor those who serve and have served
🇺🇸 Teach the next generation the value of freedom
Wreaths were provided to our CAP program and proudly displayed in remembrance of our fallen veterans. We are grateful for the dedication of our cadets and leaders who continue to ensure their sacrifices are never forgotten.
